What Exactly IS Hypnosis?

During the process of hypnosis, the hypnotherapist guides the individual through the process by setting up empowering “anchors” .  The subconscious accepts these powerful suggestions and these will become a catalyst for change in your life. Anchors can be set up to reject self-destructive and negative behavior patterns.

What to expect during one of our sessions:

During the process of hypnosis you will be aware of your surroundings, none of our hypnotherapy sessions are meant to put you to sleep, but to train you while in an induced hypnotic state.  Hypnotherapy is affective because it deals with your subconscious mind. Since your subconscious mind isn’t what you use to negotiate situations, subconscious anchors allow you to accept positive change. 

Some talk about the mind’s ability to reject suggestions that would go against their free will as “the critical factor”. The idea is, if the mind receives a suggestion that it sees as threatening, it rejects the suggestion entirely. Our hypnotherapy sessions are not a stage show.
